If you've been linked to me on facebook (craig's classroom) or my blog, you'll know that Picasa is one of my all time favorite apps! It is a free download and produced by Google.
Picasa is a photo program. It scans your computer for all your photo files and helps you see and organize them. You can use picasa to upload new photos from your camera very easily.
Picasa has powerful, yet easy to use editing tools for things like crop, brighten, contrast, straighten, red-eye fix etc. So easy! You don't need to go into a "photoshop" app to do all these routine things.
Picasa makes it easy to share your photos with others. Google gives you 1GB of online storage for free which is a generous starter amount. Besides that, it is ridiculously cheap to buy more storage if and when you need it.
