Lynda.com is an EXCELLENT source for online training. How many times do you struggle with a task in an application like Microsoft Word or Excel? My blog and classroom pages are good for miscellaneous tips and tools... but, would you really like to take a full class learning all the essential skills? You can search youtube.com for other training videos, but doing so can be often frustrating and time-wasting to find the exact video that you need. Not to mention that the quality of presentation by the youtube instructor often is not so great either.
Lynda.com produces HIGH QUALITY training videos available online that you can watch any time night or day. (I do video instruction and know how much goes into this - and these videos really impress ME!) They create 'courses' or complete knowledge sets of the skills you need. Each course is very well detailed that you don't have to watch from beginning to end to just to brush up on your weak skills. The course page has chapter video links by specific topic so you can hit the precise ones you need. (Or go beginning to end if you really need it ALL!)
I find that their price is extremely reasonable too! Consider for just $25/mo you can watch as many videos on as many courses as you want!
